Writer's Block: B.Y.O.B. Holidays

I celebrate Christmas, not because I'm a Christian but because it has familial and cultural significance for me.
I celebrate Yule, because the sun's return is a meaningful symbolic point and emotionally uplifting.
I celebrate New Year's Eve, because, you know, party!
I also celebrate any other holidays that people I know and love care to share with me, because for me holidays are more about the social significance of the occasion than about belief. And also, you know, party!

Ideally, I want a Viking ship burial, but those are frowned on these days. Absent setting me on fire and floating me out to sea majestically, I want the least environmentally impactful thing done. Cremation is actually pretty energy intensive. Simple pine-box burial, perhaps, or used as mulch for a tree would do. If socially acceptable by then, go ahead and compost me. Sure.
