In other news, we've got my sister's cat Inky for the holidays and until she gets settled into a new place, and good heavens. It's like Max has totally forgotten that he and Violet are not the only cats in the WORLD! Honestly, he's being an utter brat. Arg. Good thing he got here early!

i am _so_ glad i'm not a teenager nowadays. perhaps it's just my rose-tinted glasses, but i'm reasonably sure it wasnt this bad when i was younger :/

Not just you, I think it really wasn't. I think the '90s models of rebellion for teen girls were much, much healthier in terms of their approach to owning sexuality. I mean, think about it: L7, or Beyoncé?
