a very productive day

- Bought a bicycle. Pics tomorrow, after I pick it up as it's being checked over in the shop. Plus, I didn't know how to get home other than following the bus, and that seemed... inefficient. It's so cute! It's a blue town bike with a skirt guard and a back rack and a basket, exactly what I wanted but about £250 less than the Pashley model I was eyeing up. I think I'm going to call her Lucy. And I need some panniers and a seat cover, preferably some of the adorable Dutch oil cloth ones with enormous bright flowers.
- Bought a rain-proof jacket (which I will need, having a bike, and also living somewhere where it rains randomly all the damn time)
- Bought a laundry bag
- Made appointments for doctor, dentist, eye doctor, mole removal, and haircut
- Did some dishes and some vacuuming
- Got my laptop back (YAAAAAY LAPPY!) That took longer than expected, a week and a half for a top case replacement. Turns out, they broke my logic board trying to replace the top case. :( At least they didn't charge me for that, I'd have had a fit if they did.
Soon, there will be dinner-making and more slouching around.
