I just put the first batch of apple crisp in the oven. (Admittedly, this was a rapid reversal of my previous peach raspberry cobbler plans when I stuck my hand in the bag of ripening peaches and it came out covered in peach goo.) The windows are closed. The heat is even on. Hello, autumn!
