And if you would, talk about the differences between a "manchild", a "man", and a "grown-ass man."

In my experience:

Man-child: Usually pejorative for very adolescent-acting young adult who lives in mommy's basement. Sometimes, instead, a loving reference to a boy who is acting more maturely than his age would imply. (The latter context is the one I usually see "woman-child" used in, oddly enough.)

Man: male-identified legally adult human.

Grown-ass man: implication is usually the same as the pejorative version of man-child. Basic context of "you're a grown-ass man, WTF is wrong with you?"
