So, let's see. Today was my departmental orientation. It was mildly interesting in the midday. I found a nice place to study (I <3 libraries) in the afternoon, and had a social event in the evening. After spending an hour shouting at random people in the library and hall, five of us decamped to a nearby Korean restaurant for dinner. (Alas, they appear to have imported shitty meat special. Arg.) Then, Holborn tube was closed, gah, so I walked up to Russell Square and started a very long trip home (which ended up going the very long way around of first across Jesus Green and then through town and I don't even know what. I definitely, definitely did it wrong though.) And now I'm home and my child appears to have used every single dish today. Gah. I'm so freakin tired :(
